Welcome to Star Dust Dreams—a little corner of the universe created for readers who know that books are more than something you read. They're something you treasure.

Around here, we like to think of ourselves as Book Dragons.

Bookworms may consume books, but Book Dragons? We collect them. We treasure them. We build overflowing shelves for them, create enchanted little spaces around them, and somehow always manage to find room in the hoard for just one more. 🐉📚

I've been a reader for as long as I can remember. I discovered the magic of books when I was very young, and I've been disappearing into other worlds ever since.

Fantasy has always had the strongest pull on me—across all sorts of subgenres, although I'm particularly happy when there's a healthy dose of magic woven into a mythical world. Give me impossible places, fantastical creatures, a little mystery, and something magical waiting beyond the next page, and I'm there.

That lifelong love of stories eventually carried me beyond reading them, too. I've dabbled in writing, become a published author, and had the opportunity to work with indie authors. Books aren't simply products I decided to build a shop around. Stories have been part of my world for most of my life. 📖✨

🌙 A Little Magic in the Everyday ✨

You don't have to live in a castle, attend a school of magic, or stumble through a wardrobe into another realm to bring a little fantasy into everyday life (sign me up, though!).

Sometimes magic looks like a glowing book beside your bed.

Sometimes it's a tiny world tucked between the novels on your shelf.

Sometimes it's a sweatshirt that tells everyone exactly where you'd rather be: curled up somewhere with a book.

And sometimes it's simply finding something that makes your inner Book Dragon whisper:

Ohhhh... treasure.

That's the kind of magic I want Star Dust Dreams to be filled with. 🐉✨

📚 Curated by a Fellow Book Dragon 🗝️

Star Dust Dreams is a collection of things I think fellow readers, dreamers, collectors, fantasy lovers—and yes, nerds and geeks—will genuinely enjoy discovering.

I'm proudly all of the above.

I'm also a neurodivergent single mom raising a teenager and sharing the chaos with two dogs and a cat. Through a completely unplanned twist, my teenager and both dogs all have names beginning with P. I promise this was not some elaborate naming scheme. It just... happened.

Then there's the lone alphabetical rebel of the household: Zoë Washburne, our cat, named for the Firefly character—because apparently even my pet-naming decisions eventually find their way back to fictional worlds. 🐈🚀

So yes, the person behind Star Dust Dreams is decidedly nerdy, somewhat geeky, perpetually surrounded by books, humans and animals, and probably thinking about something imaginary.

It seemed only reasonable to build a shop accordingly.

🐉 Treasures Worth Hoarding ✨

Some of the things you'll discover here are cozy. Some are whimsical. Some are a little mysterious. Some belong Written in the Stars, while others come straight from Dragons & Distant Realms.

There are treasures for creating Enchanted Reading Spaces, tiny Book Nooks & Miniature Worlds, things to wear when you're Well-Read & Well-Dressed, and plenty of other finds that simply deserve a place in the hoard.

But they all have one thing in common:

They belong in the world of someone who treasures stories.

I don't believe being a reader begins and ends when you close a book. The stories we love have a funny way of escaping their pages. They influence the things that make us laugh, the worlds we daydream about, the spaces we create around ourselves, and sometimes even what we name our cats.

Star Dust Dreams is a celebration of that.
